The Thermo Scientific Pierce Activated Peroxidase and Antibody Labeling Kit is designed to prepare and purify HRP-antibody conjugates with any previously unmodified primary or secondary antibody.

Activated Peroxidase is HRP enzyme that has been modified with glutaraldehyde to convert surface amines to active aldehydes groups that will spontaneously conjugate with amines on an antibody. The result is a conjugate where both the enzyme activity and the antigen binding activity are preserved. The Pierce Activated Peroxidase Kit includes a Protein A/G column and buffers to affinity-purify the antibody conjugate from excess, unreacted enzyme.

Highlights:

• Reacts with primary amines to form covalent amide bonds; no reduction step is necessary to secure the linkage
